The best way to become a better magician is by investing time and practice and to learn the basics first.

The basics include learning sleight of hand with cards and coins, and to read as much as you can about all aspects of magic.

By all means learn from YouTube etc, but the real secret is to read books. If you watch too many videos you could also end up copying the style of the teacher, when you read a book you will bring out the real you... It's a win win situation...
